Pro
Panja League Season 2 Returns on August 5, 2025, on Sony Sports Network
April
9, 2025 – Mumbai: The action-packed and much-awaited Pro Panja League Season
2 is set to kick off on August 5, 2025, bringing India’s premier
arm-wrestling tournament back to fans' screens via Sony Sports Network.
The league will be broadcast daily for two hours on Sony Sports Ten 3
(SD and HD), the network’s main Hindi sports channel.
Following
the blockbuster success of its inaugural season, where Kochi KD’s
emerged champions in a nail-biting finale, the league is ready to raise the
stakes even higher. Season 2 will follow an IPL-style format, featuring
franchise-based teams battling it out over 17 action-filled days.
Timed
perfectly after India’s cricket tour of England ends on August 4, the Pro Panja
League ensures that sports enthusiasts have non-stop entertainment at
home.
As
per BARC data, Season 1 attracted 32 million unique viewers
across Sony Sports and Doordarshan, outperforming several other new sports
leagues. With rising interest, the league is poised for an even bigger
impact this year.
Parvinn
Dabass, Co-founder of Pro Panja League, shared, “We were
thrilled with the Season 1 response. The athletes have trained hard, and fans
can expect next-level competition. The recent Mizoram Mega Matches drew
15,000–20,000 attendees, proving the sport’s growth.”
He
added, “Arm wrestling has evolved into a serious professional sport. With the
league’s expansion, it will soon become a household name across India.”
