Saumya's Century and Rachana's Six-Wicket Haul Steal the Show in MCA Women’s League

 

Mumbai, November 11: A day of explosive cricket saw Saumya Tamang light up the 3rd MCA Women’s Cricket League with a stunning 115 off 71 balls (20 fours), powering Dr. D.Y. Patil SA to a dominant 129-run win over Indian Dynamite CC. Batting first, they piled up a mammoth 287/9, with Siya Modi adding a solid 78. In reply, Indian Dynamite managed just 158/7, despite a valiant 48* from 13-year-old Kartika Poojary.

 

In another thrilling clash, Rachana Pagdhare took 6 wickets for 33 runs to bowl Dashing SC to an easy 8-wicket win over Bhama CC. Chasing 97, Dashing SC cruised to victory with Ria Thakur (32*) and Jhushi Nijal (31*) finishing unbeaten.
