Kho-Kho Teams Depart by Flight for the First Time
Heading to Aligarh,
Uttar Pradesh for National Championships
Mumbai, November 24 – For the first time in
history, Maharashtra's junior boys' and girls' Kho-Kho teams traveled by flight
as they headed to the 43rd Junior National Kho-Kho Championship, scheduled from
November 25 to 29 in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. The tournament will be held at the
Maharani Ahilyabai Holkar Stadium.
The boys' team will be captained by
Bharatsing Vasave, while the girls' team will be led by Suhani Dhotre, both
from Dharashiv. This milestone of air travel for the players is credited to the
efforts of Maharashtra Kho-Kho Association's General Secretary, Prof. Dr.
Chandrajit Jadhav, and his team. The players expressed their excitement about
the travel experience.
Ahead of the competition, the players
underwent rigorous training at a camp organized by the Om Saishwar Seva Mandal
in Lalbaug, Mumbai, from November 17. Coaches and mentors, including Shrikant
Gaikwad, Nandini Dhumal, Rajesh More, supported the players throughout the
training.

Godbole, and Treasurer Adv. Govind Sharma congratulated the players and
extended their best wishes.
