Maharashtra's Strong Performance
Both Teams Enter Knockout Stage

Maharashtra's boys' and girls' teams have delivered outstanding performances in
the 43rd Junior National Kho-Kho Championship, securing their spots in the
knockout stage. In the quarterfinals, Maharashtra's girls will face
Chhattisgarh, while the boys will compete against Kolhapur.
At the Maharani
Ahilyabai Holkar Sports Stadium in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, the Maharashtra boys
dominated their final league match against Puducherry, winning by an innings
and 15 points with a score of 39-24. The all-round performances by Bharatsingh
Vasave (2.10 mins, 4 points) and Ashish Gautam (2.40 mins and 1.40 mins, 4
points) were instrumental. Additionally, Jitendra Vasave and Sotya Valvi
showcased excellent attacking skills, dismissing 8 players each. From
Puducherry, Stephan dismissed 6 players.
The Maharashtra girls'
team overwhelmed hosts Uttar Pradesh in their final league match with a
commanding victory, winning by an innings and 23 points, with a score of 28-5.
Sneha Lamkane's exceptional defense (3.40 mins not out) and Pratiksha
Birajdar's (3.10 mins, 6 points) brilliant play were the highlights. Uttar
Pradesh's Mansi (1.30 mins, 2 points) tried her best with an all-round effort.

Kolhapur and Vidarbha
Teams Also Enter Knockouts
Teams from Kolhapur and Vidarbha have also advanced to the knockout stage. In
the girls' category, Kolhapur will face Vidarbha, while in the boys' category,
Kolhapur will compete against Maharashtra, and Vidarbha will take on Odisha.
