Colombo: The England-Asia Cup Indoor
Cricket tournament organized by the Ceylon Indoor Cricket Association with the
approval of the World Indoor Cricket Federation (WICF) in this tournament India
won the last two league matches of the series to reach the finals. In the
points table, Sri Lanka is at the first position followed by India at the
second position, England and Singapore are at the third and fourth position
respectively and have been thrown out of the final match.

back in the tournament once again to reach the finals. Coach Jayesh Salgaonkar
explained that the Indian team is good and India will record a brilliant
performance in the final match.
In today's match, India dominated the match from the very beginning by
scoring 102 runs in 16 overs while batting first. In this match, India's Vijay
Gowda (16 runs, 1 wicket), Dhanush Bhaskar (19 runs and 1 wicket), Afroz Pasha
(19 runs and 2 wickets), Karthik Subramanian and Daivik Rai (18 runs, 1 wicket
each) performed strongly against England. England's Anish Patel (17 runs), Tom
Clarke (13 runs and 1 wicket) and Corner Roff (10 runs and 2 wickets) performed
well.
